Zhang Qingming and the local vine-weaving industry were introduced to a national audience through CCTV-4’s 《走遍中国》.
In July 2016, CCTV published the episode “绿色点子成金记”, showing the use of regional natural resources, commercialization of vine-woven bags and development of the craft as a local industry. It remains an important record because it presents not only finished products, but also the material and work behind them.
