Wild-grape-vine bags moved from Yongtai into everyday life in Japan and other overseas markets.
Public information from the Yongtai County Government notes that Zhang Qingming registered the PUTAOYAO trademark and that wild-grape-vine woven products were exported to markets including France, Japan and Italy. This marked the formation of a continuing path from regional handcraft to international contemporary bags.
